I am a consultant specializing in federal audit readiness for government prime contractors and their subs, accountants, and accounting firms. With 23 years in federal procurement, I bring a practical, experience-driven approach to helping organizations strengthen their internal controls and navigate federal compliance requirements.

My professional journey began immediately after high school when I chose to serve my country in the U.S. Army. I later pursued my education in Accounting at the University of Texas and later Colorado Technical University, ultimately earning my MBA in Accounting through dedication, hard work, and effective time management.

During my 15 years with DCAA, I audited federal contractors and subcontractors holding significant government contracts that support our nation's military and federal operations. Through this experience, I recognized a common challenge: many contractors wanted to maintain compliance but struggled to interpret and apply the extensive requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

I saw an opportunity to use my firsthand auditing experience to help our contractors better understand FAR requirements and prepare for the audit process.
